At DAIS Ishinomaki, we will work together to enliven a wide variety of activities at DAIS Ishinomaki, such as Chodo Festival (an outdoor theater where local citizens can participate in plays, traditional performing arts, and performance art), DAIS Farm (a farm field activities and kitchen for communal use), and DAIS AIR (residency production by artists from Japan and abroad), Museum of Living Memories (a workshop and storyteller related to the Great East Japan Earthquake from citizen’s perspectives, and a permanent exhibit space for the \u201cField Trip Project & Field Trip Project Asia”) while doing DIY on the site of an abandoned former farmhouse. We are looking for members who can help and work together with us!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DAIS Ishinomaki is an experimental platform that “continues to question circulative diversities.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A comprehensive community from children to seniors, an inclusive community as a whole including diverse local settlers and mobile populations; immigrants from abroad, technical trainees, ones with disabilities, local residents, artists, and so on. In a new way of interacting with members and resident artists, why not cook and eat meals, work in the farm fields, and create exhibitions and events together?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
